Elf: Deck the Halls

Monster Mania traces the evolution of horror films, featuring footage from classic and contemporary favorites.

"Meat Loaf" Aday is an overgrown Texas youngster, the son of a gentle woman dying of cancer and an alcoholic, abusive father. Tormented by his father and schoolmates over his size, he strikes out on his own after his mother's death, in an impossible task to prove himself to the world and to himself. A chance audition for a musical leads him to join forces with composer Jim Steinman, and together the two make music history with the operatic rock album "Bat Out of Hell." But the demons that drive Meat Loaf aren't assuaged by success, and eventually he must come to terms with them.

Retrospective documentary on the making of the 1980 horror film "The Fog" featuring interviews with director John Carpenter, producer Debra Hill, stars Janet Leigh and Adrienne Barbeau, director of photography Dean Cundey, and editor/production designer Tommy Lee Wallace.

The Chiodo Brothers explain how the technique of stop motion animation brings their characters to life in "Elf."

Two of the film’s associate choreographers, Jamal Sims and Zach Woodley, lead audiences through dance numbers from the film. Produced for the “Hairspray” DVD.

NOT A PHOTOGRAPH documents the resurrection of the seminal post-punk band Mission of Burma, beginning in 2002 and continuing to the present. For a band deemed 'too ahead-of-their-time' during their initial existence, NOT A PHOTOGRAPH follows Mission of Burma's struggle to breathe new life into a tale that's already been recorded in rock's history books -- one that's placed them under the bright lights of acclaim, influence and legend.
