Brian Wilson Presents: Pet Sounds – Live in London

Legendary former Beach Boy, Brian Wilson toured America and Japan with a 10 piece band. Here he is captured performing 24 live tracks, and one that has never been issued before. Also included are interviews with Pete Townshend, Sheryl Crow, Neil Young and Patti Smith, a back-stage visit from Ronnie Spector, Paul McCartney's induction of Wilson to the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and a series of interviews with the man himself filmed over a 4 year period.

With 56 U.S. Top 100 hits, 36 Top Ten Hits, and 4 Number One singles, their impression on American pop culture is rivaled only by the band that considered them to be their sole competition, The Beatles. To mark the group’s 50th anniversary, Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks gathered in 2012 for an emotional reunion to record their first album of new material in 20 years, to kick off a worldwide tour, and to reflect on their remarkable history.

This documentary includes footage from a Brian Wilson solo concert and documents the making of his 1998 album "Imagination".

While the Beach Boys recorded songs for their SMiLE project in 1966 and 1967, the album was never completed. In 2004, Brian Wilson, his band and lyricist Van Dyke Parks re-assembled and re-recorded the material as a song cycle and album titled Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE, performed here in its entirety at a venue in Los Angeles.
