Parable of men's promises and torments of conscience. The main character is time to finish with a drink. In the morning, a whistle suddenly appears on his neck, and an unknown girl in bed. And everything would be fine, but the wife will be any minute.

The plot revolves around the rehearsal of the play “Excitement” in which Freindlikh is to play a famous American writer from New York. The actress and director have heated debates about the eccentric character. They discuss the process of creation, its mysterious mechanisms, the birth of a work of art in general. They also talk about the world around Alisa outside the theatre – her family, home, friends, interests and her beloved St. Petersburg. The film is meant to commemorate the great Russian actress’s 85th anniversary.

The intention is to be a good police officer, but in Russia it is very cold. In the distant regions of Russia, two police officers go on a job. The task they face is rather simple, but the local climate creates a serious obstacle for its fulfilment.

The case brings two older women together. Lonely and embittered by the whole world, Zhenya is forced to unite with the eccentric and good-natured Mila in order to get out of the circumstances in which they found themselves thanks to a chance acquaintance with two young frivolous neighbors.

On Parents’ Saturday, the ancestors’ memorial day, a mother and her son travel in an old Sedan. They have far to go: in a day they have to visit five cemeteries, scattered across the region. From the very beginning nothing goes according to plan.

The life of foreman Ivan Plotnikov has been going downhill for a long time because of his invincible habit of enduring everything. But, by chance finding himself at the Russian bathhouse championship, he learns that this is not a curse at all, but a great talent. Now he will have to fully develop his ability to endure in order to finally believe in himself, regain the respect of his loved ones and compete for the solid cash prize that he so desperately needs.

But the days of Doctor Liza are always full of surprises… In a hospital in a Moscow suburb a five-year-old girl is dying. The duty doctor has to discharge Eva. Due to medical formalities the child, who suffers from cancer, is left without painkillers. In utter despair, the girl’s father turns to Liza for help. When Liza cannot find a way to help the child within the system, she decides on a desperate act…
