Hog Heaven: The Pigz Brotherz Story

Martin Scorsese's award-winning Casino, based on a book by Nicholas Pileggi, was a powerhouse movie filled with mythical stories of Las Vegas in its early years. In this movie, first aired on John Pierson's show "Split Screen" on The Independent Film Channel and Bravo, viewers get to know Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal (played by Robert De Niro), Tony Spilotro (Joe Pesci) and Alan Dorfman (Alan King) as they really were.

The place is the notorious Starck Club (so called because it was the first major project designed by Philippe Starck in the US.) The Starck Club opened in Dallas in 1984 and not long after hosted the 1984 national Republican Convention. Ironically, it was actually legal to buy MDMA aka ecstasy there, people would put it on their credit cards. The DEA stepped in and made it a category 1 drug on July 1, 1985... In a time when ecstasy was legal & guyliner was cool.

Café owner Peter, leaves his disgruntled manager Henry, to take care of business, and he instead hires a crew of misfits. Peter returns to an unrecognizable business but soon learns the value of camaraderie with the new team.

An outcast, Alien Guy Tim, wants to prove that he has been abducted by aliens, but encounters many obstacles along the way.
