People are cunning creatures who can turn a handicap into an advantage. Such is the case with the trumpeter who has a cold and therefore cannot play his instrument.

Creativity is most often a Sisyphean task. In contrast to this is the immense will and perseverance of the creator who, despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, continues to create.

The film is a combination of animation and live-action sequences. In both parts, the connecting thread is the knock on the door. It is a story about a man who finds himself in various situations during his life, even being shot, and after each of those situations, he hears a knock on the door and when he opens it, there is a man in front of it who hits him on the head. That is the animated part, which has 32 frames. The live-action part is made up of 18 frames, divided into two sequences. In the first sequence, the animator makes the cartoon he has already seen, hears a knock on the door and when he opens it, he is also hit on the head by a man. In the second sequence, a woman makes a collection of photographs showing the animator in various situations, and suddenly hears a knock on the door. The dilemma arises whether to open the door?

In live action, an old man feelds a flour mill. Two seeds are then transformed into animated lovers who dance their last waltz.

One of the nails does not enter the tree at all, it can not be nailed. It is associated with dignity, endurance, steadfastness. One must always stand behind one's principles and determinations.

Through the hourglass, which metaphorically represents the unstoppable flow of movement, that is, the cycle of life, the individual is first represented, and then, through collectivism and the structural symbiosis of individuals, the entire humanity is marked within the closed circle of life, called existence.
