Paree - Chapter 2

When a Maldivian family moves into an old house in Sri Lanka, their young daughter begins to change in disturbing ways. What starts as emotional withdrawal soon spirals into terrifying supernatural occurrences. As the family unravels, they must confront an evil far beyond their understanding.

Hussain (Ali Cezan) is an interior designer who lives in Male' with his wife and daughter. He was leading and happy and peaceful life until he meets Shaheen (Sheila Najeeb), a long lost friend. While his wife, Ainthu (Niuma Mohamed), and daughter, Sumakko (Aflaaz Faisal) are out of Male on a short holiday, Hussain has a short affair with Shaheen. Though he wanted to end the fling, she begins clinging to him and eventually he becomes her obsession.

This is a story of three friends, Ashwanee, Ahsan and Ajwad who are in their 40s and are single. Ashwanee couldn't get married as his girlfriend ran away. Ajwad is divorced and looking after his son, Jawad. Ahsan lost his wife after giving birth to a boy. Nineteen years later, a stranger comes to meet Ashwanee regarding handing over a girl named Ashwa. It was the last wish of her mother, Ziyana. And when Ashwanee sees Ashwa, he is shocked as Ashwa exactly looks like her mother. Ajwad's son, Jawad calls him and asks him to come to the island where he runs his business. Ajwad decides to take along his two friends and their kids. After going to the island, Ajwad, Ahsan and Ashwanee decide to enjoy their 40s with younger girls from the island and have a good time. However, in the island, Ajwad's business competitor, Guli schemes to destroy his business with the help of Zahid, the chief police officer of the island and her younger sister Taniya.

Javid and his father quarrels about his wedding proposal to a girl named Nasiha, who is the daughter of Javid's father's friend. His mother convinced him to marry Nasiha, though she is aware of the fact that Seezan has been chased by a spirit and it won't allow him to marry anyone. The film is presented in a nonlinear narrative, jumping between the present and past. In the flashbacks it reveal the past incidents which have occurred in Javid's life. In order to pursue secondary education, Javid travelled to a nearby island where he meets Thahumeena and a romantic relationship arises between them. Thahumeena spent most of her time at Javid’s house and did all the household chores. Days revolved around Javid, Thahumeena and a ghost shaping as Thahumeena. While the ghost urged Javid every night, to go to the beach, Thahumeena expressed her fear for the same. Javid and the ghost goes to the beach every night.

A group of friends embarking on a holiday getaway in an unfamiliar foreign locale, seek to craft cherished memories. However, the trip turns into a nightmare when some bizarre and unexplainable events start to unravel, instilling terror and horror in the group.

Ginihila is a 2003 Maldivian horror film directed by Easa Shareef. The film is an unofficial remake of Vikram Bhatt's Indian horror film Raaz (2002).

Sheleen Yoosuf (Sheela Najeeb), a young woman who hails from an extremely rich and influential family is romantically linked up with Shaheen (Asad Shareef), a very poor man. When Sheleen comes to her parents with the proposal of marrying Shaheen, she is rebuked and gets an outright refusal for his bad manners and arrogant outlook.

The story is mainly based on the unconditional love of a father (Yoosuf Shafeeu) towards his only daughter (Mariyam Enash Sinan).

The story revolves around a "small mistake" that snowballs into widespread misadventure. Described as "comedy gold," the film aims to provide humor and ease the stresses of daily life through its ridiculous situations and unexpected twists.
