The Exorcist (2025) Who taught us that black magic is bad magic? In an experimental vertical format video, Krade explores the taboos surrounding witchcraft, the etymology of the word "necromancy", and the link between colonialism and folk magic. This short film, published in three parts on Instagram and YouTube, belongs to a larger and ongoing work, including a self-published essay.

A young girl is approaching the end of a cycle, when she gets a visit from a goddess named Norn. Unaware of Norn's intentions, the girl is very excited to create a deep and intimate friendship with her. Until Norn tells her the truth.

In the summer of 2024, filmmaker and artist Janne Elens retreats to rural Sweden, where she stays on a permaculture farm that, years prior, had served as a sanctuary after she had escaped a dangerous situation. After years of trauma processing, she now decides to close this chapter of humiliation and suffering, on the land that had carried her so dearly while the residue of this traumatic event lingered on her body. This mud ritual arose from a spontaneous urge to give herself deep cleansing, and in doing so, return all the filth and the dirt inflicted upon her back to the Earth.

A young woman lives by herself surrounded by silence and subtle unease. Her days unfold in gentle routines and small rituals yet dark omens begin to appear around her. When night falls, the house awakens and shadows gather. Holy Mary watches from afar as darkness slowly grows. Based on a true story and lived experience, Mold Maiden is a reflection on fear, faith, mental health and the (un)seen forces that surround us.

Two sisters try to survive the war by isolating themselves inside the house after their parents have disappeared. Through strange messages and clues, they try to figure out where their parents have gone.

An audiovisual poem about a poltergeist relationship.

A found footage film about suicidal ideation. Text written by Hannelore Commers.

You wake up alone in the forest. A fairy finds you and guides you underground - towards the ways of the ants, the roots, and the deep intelligence of the Earth. A poetic and enchanting offering for the frozen, dissociated and forgotten.

An experimental short film about sensory seeking behaviour in childhood. Filmed on VHS.

Streamed exclusively on her Instagram stories, film maker Janne Elens takes us on a short and intimate journey to her family's abandoned house to reflect on her past and communicate with her deceased grandmother's spirit.

A child runs into the woods in an attempt to escape Evil.

An experimental vertical short-form fairytale about the Mouse Princess and the traps she has been in.

A private webcam video - never intended to be shared - turned into an emotionally raw video installation. This short film is intentionally unedited, to show the full preparation ritual: the slow and perhaps even banal act of combing the doll’s hair. In this piece, filmmaker Janne Elens works within the lineage of Chantal Akerman, highlighting women’s/AFAB bodies’ under appreciated, yet vital, labour.
