The Big Town

This series, mostly humorous, yet epic in proportions, chronicles the city of Split in turbulent times between 1910 and 1947. Although the story has numerous subplots and dozens of different characters, the main accent is given to "Hajduk", world-famous soccer club and its founders.

In the Registrar's Office

Based on the Ante Kovačić's novel "U registraturi" (In the Registrar's Office, 1888.) Tells the story of Ivica Kicmanovic – from his childhood to his eventual downfall caused by a femme fatale Laura. 9 episodes in total.

The painful challenges experienced in the life of a farmer from Zadar, Croatia, in the years from World War I to World War II.

Klara Dombrovska

It tells about mutual conflicts and the decline of the once rich and prominent Zagreb family Dombrovski. In this large family, women have always been in charge of decisions. The plot takes place immediately after the death of the founder and owner of the company, Vladimir Dombrovski.

The Eye

When Dr. Lovro Furato accidentally fails to treat the injured eye of the peasant Barisa Surac, the whole silent conflict between the two worlds, rich urban and backward rural, will emerge to the surface.

Thirst

In 1878, during the Austro-Hungarian occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the commander of the gendarmerie station in Sokolac was given the task of suppressing the Hajduk movement in that area. The commander asks the arrested and wounded hajduk leader to hand over his comrades.

The Carnival

A psychological drama about loneliness. The story takes place in a small seaside town, but it could have taken place anywhere else, where the customs of carnival festivities are cherished. Carnival is a time when people's wishes come true in a certain way and when everything is a bit surreal. An old sailor and his wife live out their last days alone. The world of unfulfilled wishes has become so close to them that it seems as if they have already experienced them all...

Three Poplars

The film was created based on the stories of Marino Zurl, head of humanitarian action of the weekly Arena newspapers, who from 1963 to 1971 was looking for the next of kin of children separated from their parents during World War II and taken to camps and shelters. Many of them later grew up in orphanages or foster families, like the three main characters of this film, Ana (Biserka Ipša), Nenad (Mustafa Nadarević) and Toma (Božidar Orešković). Each of them relates in a different way to the past and the possibility that, as young accomplished adults, they can finally solve the secret of their identity and meet members of their real families.

Big Shade

The action takes place in the Dalmatian hinterland and displays how the effects of modern life disintegrate local population in the villages.
