Year-end special brought together three interpreters of Brazilian popular music - Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso and Ivete Sangalo - to honour the Brazilian woman.

'Xuxa no Mundo da Imaginação' was a children's program hosted by Xuxa Meneghel. Educational in nature and developed after three years of research, the show opted not to air cartoons, instead featuring segments and musical numbers produced in an almost artisanal manner, with a pace and style distinct from the children's programs Xuxa had hosted previously.

After being fired from his job and have his unemployment insurance money robbed, a young man decides to become a robber himself. While escaping authorities, he meets a female teacher of whom he takes hostage. Things get complicated when they fall in love with each other.

The cheerful and outgoing Jordana lived alongside Silas for 20 years, helping him become wealthy. Despite this, he abandons her to run away with the opportunistic Carla. After the separation, Jordana faces financial difficulties. She then meets Dona Mena, an eccentric and lonely old woman abandoned by her family. Jordana takes care of Dona Mena and, when she dies, inherits four bronze cupids containing a million dollars. The problem is that the cupids disappear without a trace. The cupids become the subject of a fight between Dona Mena's nephews, Loreta and Carlito. The two are the villains of the story. Jordana, however, ends up falling in love with Carlito. In the final chapters, Jordana manages to recover the cupids and rebuild her life. She has the help of her friend Vieira.

Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

Elas por Ela reconstituted the history of MPB between 1920 and 1970, from the female perspective, also showing the transformation of the role of women in society over these years. Marília Pêra chose 35 singers to honor and, from 50 songs, put together the script for the show.
