The documentary series were made to look back on Korea’s modern history. It tells stories of specific moments in time weaving together relevant video clips from news broadcasts, dramas, shows and other documentaries

The world has been reduced to rubble by a massive earthquake. While no one knows for sure how far the ruins stretch, or what the cause of the earthquake may be, in the heart of Seoul there is only one apartment building left standing. It is called Hwang Gung Apartments. As time passes, outsiders start coming in to Hwang Gung Apartments trying to escape the extreme cold. Before long, the apartment residents are unable to cope with the increasing numbers. Feeling a threat to their very survival, the residents enact a special measure.

This film creates a "video mixtape" by assembling fragments from over 50 films produced by the now-defunct Korean film company Nama-jinheung between the late 1960s and early 1990s. Through these carefully curated scenes, it captures the inner landscape of Koreans during the Cold War and the era of rapid economic growth, offering a unique reflection of a nation in transformation.
