Jalwa

Taj Aur Talwar (1961) is a Pakistani Urdu-language costume drama released on May 26, 1961, directed by Riaz Ahmad Raju and produced by Films Hayyat. The film stars Rattan Kumar and featured the debut of actress Razia.

When a tyrannical landlord breaks a fragile peace treaty and murders a young man, his family is thrust into a bitter cycle of revenge. Split between a personal blood oath and the strict boundaries of the law, two separated brothers must navigate their clashing duties, bound only by a hidden physical mark and a mother's blessing.

An impressive social story about a poor Clerk and his hard life.. Film director Khalil Kaisar played the title role and famous film poet Khawaja Parvez was also seen in a comedy role.

Khalid and Rehana come across each other in their college, where they fall for each other after the usual bantering, and get married. Rehana who belongs to an upper-class family in contrary to Khalid, faces hurdles in the marriage created by Sarkar Maa (Khalid's mother). She compromise and tries to save her married life, until she loses her unborn due to her mother-in-law's cruel behaviour. After the incident, she decides to separate from Khalid and leaves him.

A young man and a woman fall deeply in love, hoping to build a future together. However, their relationship is soon pushed to the breaking point by a series of misunderstandings, family interference, and the harsh pressures of social expectations.
