Three Wishes

In a world where we are overstimulated with political ideology from all sides, the option to disengage is becoming a more favourable option. The name-less protagonist in this short is on a venture of making the decision whether to engage or disengage.

We are introduced to a boy, who sees a spinning top. As he tries to get closer to the object, we are taken on a journey of curiosity, fear and nostalgia. The film is filmed mainly under the A40 Greenford roundabout and captures the equivocating nature of this gloomy place.

"Junak" denotes a brave, resourceful, and gallant young man. The film follows a man who has lived by these values all his life. But it is only in old age that he faces his greatest challenge, and discovers what it truly means to be a junak, as he cares for the person closest to him.

The Stall follows a lone bin man, who loses his all-important litter picker, while hopelessly collecting rubbish off the streets. In this state of continuous misery, he suddenly encounters a lone woman. Their shared struggles lead them on a path of self-exploration of what it really means to live.
