The film is composed of five short stories: "Gulina's Pillow", "Riding With Wind", "Home Elsewhere", "Bala", and "Children Of The World". These stories are connected by strong emotions and depict the unique culture, geography, and harmonious coexistence of different ethnic groups in Altay.

Li Wenxiu, a Han Chinese girl who grew up in Altay, is determined to pursue her literary dream in a big city. However, she repeatedly encounters obstacles and is forced to return to her hometown to rely on her mother who runs a small shop. After meeting Kazakh boy Batay, Wenxiu gradually discovered the beauty of the local area.

Diagnosed with ovarian cancer, a 29-year-old journalist who longs for true love ends up writing the biography for an entrepreneur's father, which leads her to embark on an existential journey.
