Interlude

Movie

For a brief time on his train to Montreal, filmmaker Alan Smithee reminisced about scenes from his unfinished romantic short film and his encounter with his ex-girlfriend, Valentina Vargo, on which the film is based on their bitter split after college graduation.

As Trysdale prepared for the year-end international exchange formal with Odessey and Malvous in a quiet afternoon, his thoughts drifted to an exchange student named Hecate when he once again locked eyes with the cactus she gave to him, whose fleeting connection with him had dissolved into quiet regret, or maybe there's still a glimpse of chance?
