The Measure of Drowning

The blurred portrayal of a young woman as she moves through three steps of her sexuality.

A joyous and sexual ode to sorority.

A film about genderfluidity and desire.

A lyrical voyage to the Hebrides and Faroe Islands. The hazy images shimmer in ever changing colours, their emphatic materiality giving expression to the magic of the locations. The voiceover weaves subjective impressions and historical facts into a dense narrative of life with – and about – the whales in these regions. The film reflects on subsistence farming, biodiversity, and endangered marine mammals.

After the first chapter of their demented adventures with “the furniture-man”, besties Romy and Laure move in together with their friend Elisa and Titi, the curious cat. One day, a shiny new butt plug mysteriously appears at their door. Its sexual power may be dangerous – will they be able to resist its extraordinary appeal? Romy Alizée & Laure Giappiconi return with THE MYSTERY OF THE ENCHANTED PLUG their second “fotonovel” short film, a fairy tale for grown ups... and for Titi too!

A melodic and meditative exploration of the joys of the fist.

On the small stage of a theater, a woman begins a strange dance...

Between parties with their gang of super girlfriends, occasional Boy-Gifts and Amazonian explorations, life passes quietly for Laure and Romy ... But one evening....
