At the end of the world, where time has stopped and even the shadows of ancestors remain faithful to their homes, there is a village where stylized absurdity mixes with the subconscious of the nation and where reality walks hand in hand with dreams and the afterlife.

The majestic cross of the savior rises above the village and casts a shadow on the quirky neighbourhood in preparation for the funeral. Vladimír is about to bury his wife and impatiently awaits his son Dušan, from whom he has long been estranged.

Young bricklayer Rudo is unwillingly taken by his coworkers to a job in Moravia. After the arrival of the eccentric Kuliš, the work turns into a series of chaotic events where both the construction and relationships begin to fall apart. Rudo’s inner conflicts come alive through his old love Tamara. In the harsh world of laborers, where chaos reigns and the past blends with dreams, Rudo struggles to keep a piece of his honor and humanity.
