To My Funeral, Come Wearing Red

Original animated film made for the International Chopin Year. The soundtrack consists of Fryderyk Chopin's music performed by Justyna Steczkowska, Tomasz Stańko and Michał Urbaniak. The author rejects the pompous, exalted, pathos-laden, obligatory admiration that paralyses the possibility of hearing Chopin's music in a fresh way.

A moody love story featuring a cat and mouse. Even if we are lucky enough to love and be loved, deep down we remain a bit lonely. The film talks about how dearly we have to pay for our inability to endure this loneliness. About the fact that we must take care of love carefully, because returning to a loved one may prove impossible, even if there is a glowing longing on both sides. "Mieso" (Meat) is a satirical and irreverent revision of the most recent history of Poland.

The story follows a young scientist in the contemporary world, who actually came from the world of dwarves, thanks to a magic potion, held by the Big Eater, ruler of the dwarves. The dwarf kingdom, Shuflandia, exists in a cellar of a library, and only the most obedient get the chance to grow to king size and inhabit the larger world. Once there, nobody wants to return to Shuflandia. Also, there are no women in Shuflandia.

Fleeing from despair after losing those dearest to him, the hero hides in a safe land of memories, where time stands still and all those dear to him are alive.

Oneiric tale about aging angels.
