Ten years ago, small time crook Aftab Angrez made a hit-man's dream debut in the Mumbai underworld with a shocking, high-profile killing. Much to his bad luck, the credit was attributed to someone else. Now back in Mumbai, with the help of two long-retired gang-mates, he sets out to regain that long lost glory. A bitter-sweet tale about lovable losers, identity crises, dashed hopes, and many misfired bullets that is riddled with laughs.

A village is inhabited mainly by women whose husbands are in the cities earning a living. Taking advantage of the situation, a man who returns to his village succeeds in seducing most of the women.

Francesco, who lives in a small town in Sicily, realises that his life shows little signs of taking a turn for the better. He is a talented artist but can barely live from the comic strip he draws for an erotic monthly. So he works on the side, doing up stolen motorbikes for the local Mafia. The only woman in his life is the voluptuous motorbike rider Ghibbelina, the heroine of his comic strips. However all this changes when a film crew arrives in town with the eccentric B-film-maker Harry Archer and his novice actress Yasmin, an Indo-British beauty. Francesco falls head over heels in love and this even leads to a cautious affair.

In order to treat his visually impaired son, mill owner Jethia forges some documents to acquire the eyes donated by Jadunath, one of his workers who was wrongfully framed for a couple of murders and sentenced to death.

The denizens of a brothel deal with internal drama, as well as pressure from greedy land developers and an anti-sex work politician to leave town.
