After leaving prison, Elzan struggled to earn money through street fighting and becoming a debt collector, in order to redeem his family's house which was confiscated by the bank. However, defending the family home feels useless, because Elzan has to be in direct conflict with Ical, his own younger brother. With the help of Ara and Rio, Elzan fights for the integrity of his family by risking everything.

Nurul was a loving mother who supported the family, supporting the household through hard work and prayer, and managing the warm and welcoming Empal Gentong Stall. Her passing shook the family, the stall fell silent, Qomar was trapped in loneliness, and her two sons only just realized the importance of a mother's presence. The water reserve in Gua Pulejajar does not only give hope to Rubiyanto and the other villagers of Desa Jepitu, but also reignites spiritual relations between Echa and her late father, who was a former activist of Gua Pulejajar.

Huda, a fish thief in fish auction, decided to leave his home since his mother passed away in addition to abusive behavior of his alcoholic father. Harsh life in the auction site made Huda want to achieve his dream to catch the golden fish in sea. Sri, a fish collector, is close with Huda and considers the ‘golden fish’ as a myth. However, Huda is becoming more confident that if he were to catch the golden fish, his life would be happier. In the end, Huda must choose whether to survive in the fish auction site with little hope or go to find the golden fish in desperation.
