Perfect Blue: Yume Nara Samete (パーfectブルー 夢なら醒めて, Pāfekuto Burū: Yume Nara Samete) is a 2002 Japanese psychological thriller film directed by Toshiki Satō and adapted from the novel of the same name by Yoshikazu Takeuchi. The story centers on Ai, a teen pop idol transitioning to a recording career, whose life unravels amid fixation from a obsessive convenience store clerk, leading to themes of distorted self-perception, narcissistic delusions, and violent events.

Hayato comes back to his home village after father breaks his legs and cannot walk anymore. He brings his wife Ami along with him, who had a miscarriage and has been dysfunctional and depressed ever since. Hayato hangs with his old friends and enjoys the life of the village, but Ami is a city girl and is growing lonelier. She finds comfort in the arms of Hayato's father. It's not long before everybody in the small village is aware of their relationship... except Hayato... A drama about betrayal and the illogical nature of love and happiness.

Sex Machine tells of the affable but simple Hiroshi, who during one sweltering summer in a small, parochial town, moves in with his girlfriend, Haruka. Their lovemaking is as athletic as it is bizarre but a dark storm comes looming when Haruka's ex boyfriend comes knocking at the door.

“When 28-year-old Tomomi is dumped by her boyfriend she seeks solace in the arms of 20-year-old student, Takao. A relationship develops through which Takao comes of age sexually and Tomomi discovers a side to love she has previously not known.”

A timid young woman who lives with her domineering mother accepts an Adult Video scout's offer to "become somebody else" by performing in porn videos. As she rises in popularity, the boundaries between her two lives begin to disintegrate.

The film tells the story of Aiko, a 35-year-old mute woman who works in a bowling alley, and her brief romance with Yoshioka, a younger man who works as a postal carrier. The two meet when Aiko accidentally knocks Yoshioka off his bicycle, and they have a sexual encounter soon after. Aiko begins preparing lunchboxes and giving them to Yoshioka at his workplace as a way of expressing affection, which she cannot do verbally.

Junko, who has precognition, predicted her senior's death and disappeared from her fiancé's life. Five years later, Junko, who works in a peep-shop, reunites with Kazuki and rekindles their love, but tragedy soon ensues. Hotaru Hatsuki, one of the most popular actresses of the 1990s, gives a strong performance in this poignant tale of a woman's attempt to escape her fate.

Akiko goes to her high school reunion and is raped by a drunken guy, and then hooks up with her ex-high school love. After attempting to meet someone new on a dating website, Chihiro starts talking to Makoto, who is asking around about a string of suicides. She agrees to meet with him, as she knew one of the girls that recently passed. After the two begin to connect a bit, Makoto gets an e-mail from Chihiro, saying she doesn't see a purpose to continue living.
