Golden Sword Woman

After his success as a martial arts film star, WONG Joi made a fatal decision to write and direct his debut feature Golden Sword Woman, with his beloved wife Mei-fung starring as the eponymous heroine. Years later, a senile, demented WONG, who keeps blabbering about his ‘groundbreaking’ debut, is being taken care of by his grudging son Ho. The film parodies the visual style of the Shaw Brothers martial arts films to tell the story of a contemporary father-and-son conflict and reconciliation. Golden Sword Woman travels in time and between both sides of the silver screen, between the romantic world of swordsmen and the unpromising, secular family life.

Chai catches the assassin and discovers that he is Meow, Chai and Kam’s childhood best friend. To save his friend, Chai helps Meow flee Hong Kong. A Murder Erased

International narcotics officer CHOI , has been demoted by his superior officer MA to local duties after partaking in bribery in the line of work. He’s assigned to a death scene investigation by YAN where the deceased, YUNG’s body had laid undiscovered for eight years, and only recently discovered by maintenance workers during the renovation of an old block of flat. CHOI looks into CHAO as the prime suspect, and linking it to adultery with YUNG’s widow PING as an accomplice. The case soon comes under scrutiny by a high-ranking court prosecutor SANTOS. Under his inquiries, the investigator becomes the investigated, and CHOI’s actions fall under suspicion as all manner of inconsistencies come to light from his statement. YUNG was a man of many vices, with few crimes left untouched by his hand – rape, drug smuggling, blackmail and working alongside notorious gangster FAI WAI.

Jean-Louis ends up spending a night at Maud's. Jean-Louis' Catholic views on marriage, fidelity and obligation make his situation a dilemma, as he has already, at the very beginning of the film, proclaimed his love for a young woman whom, however, he has never yet spoken to.
