Subject of Desire

Join Moses on an odyssey of self-reflection as they discuss sex, love, and life in New York City.

Awakening in a field far from home, two sisters embark on a magical and bizarre adventure through the pastoral Midwest. After finding a mysterious axe, Bethica and Christmas are tracked by a pair of sinister internationals. When one of the sisters gets captured at a local bar, the other goes in search (while also looking for her favorite horses).

In this documentary and meditation on trans sisterhood, two tight-knit roommates (Mila and Fenyx) get ready for their night out. As they inject hormones, bicker, put on makeup, and smoke a little too much weed, we get an intimate glimpse into their loving and occasionally fraught relationship.
