GROSS.
It's been so long since I've had grass in my hair.
We all have human bodies. It’s unfortunate but it’s true. And the aim of the film “GROSS.” is to perhaps make that fact a little less ‘gross’ by exploring it and accepting it. It’s a project full of depicting our attempt at perfection, in everything down to our bodies, and our inner inability to live only in that perfection. Control may be safe but it’s fake and boring, and in this film a dancer named Astrid takes us on a journey of her struggle with perfection and with her body through visual representation of textures.
