"Rainbow in the Dark" is a Yugoslav TV film from 1992. It was directed by Slobodan Radovic, and the screenplay was written by Olga Savic, based on the work of Marina Tsvetaeva.

This TV work uses the form of a musical based on real events that took place in Belgrade at the beginning of the 20th century. The story is based on a tragic love affair between count Oršić and Maria Rab, starting in 1910s Vienna, while ending on the eve of the Second World War in Belgrade.

Based on personal experiences of the writer, it takes place in 1917 in the Serbian military hospital on the Thessaloniki front, where wounded and sick soldiers and officers open up many crucial discussions, while impatiently waiting for a general order to all allied forces for a joint breakthrough.

A chamber TV film with the intention of reminding of Bozidar Grujovic, a doctor of law and insurgent legislator, who voluntarily came to unhappy and illiterate Serbia in the middle of the First Serbian Uprising, armed with knowledge of Roman law and the spirit of the French revolution.

First sins of early childhood, boyish adventures, excitements of the first love, imaginative mischiefs and conflicts with the world of adults… A kind of Tom Sawyer-like adventures of the two boys from a small Serbian town in the 1950s.
