Jozi-H is a one-hour hospital drama series set in Johannesburg, South Africa, set in the Johannesburg General Hospital. It is a Canada-South Africa co-production. It first aired in Canada on CBC Television on 13 October 2006, and in South Africa on SABC3 in 2007. Producers are Morula Pictures and Inner City Films Inc.. The series was co-created by South Africans Mfundi Vundla and Karen Briner. Currently being shown on OH-TV, Sky Digital channel 199.

After inheriting her estranged grandmother’s winery in Napa Valley, Cassandra, a high-powered attorney, takes a sabbatical from her job to renovate the property that was the source of the fractures within her family. With the help of handsome local Alec, she learns more about the grandmother she hardly knew and is able to reconcile the past, while finally opening herself up to a love like she’s never known.

A Black South African lives in Toronto with his Canadian wife in 1989. His fears of being stalked by South African secret police, force him to reflect back on his life growing up under apartheid.
