Maša, beset by anxious reality in which she takes care of her ill mother, flees into the world of imagination, trying to create her own fairy tale. A phone call informs her of the death of a man she doesn't even know and she, without too much hesitation, decides to attend his funeral.

Discovering a multitude of unmarked, unedited, and unseen tapes belonging to her father, the author begins a personal and cinematic odyssey to unveil the real man behind the recordings.

Sometimes it is necessary to go to the other side of the world to open the topic of intimacy. Sometimes it is necessary not to shoot a single frame to make a film. Sometimes there is an attempt to create closeness by increasing the distance and sometimes the impossibility to do so tries to camouflage itself with an adventure story. Sometimes I think I speak Chinese. In this travel essay written at the height of the epidemic and just after the earthquake, I asked myself a question and intended to find an answer. Now I realize that I don’t know the answer or that it may not exist at all. Now I understand, maybe we are more similar than I think.

We live in a predominantly male world, and maybe the most important task women have is creating their own identity. We are guided through the path of eight decades of life by eight female characters, starting from the youngest one who is at the age of five, to the oldest one at the age of 85. Tila is bravely pedalling towards growing up. Jana can set a great example for both younger and older people around her. Tina waits for her sudden growing-up milestone with excitement. Ana Marija is at the end of her 20s with a dash of fear... Eight authors directed a documentary omnibus which offers us an opportunity to observe the creation of these identities and surpassing the obstacles laid ahead of a little girl, a teenager, a woman, a mother, a non-mother and a grandmother.
