The Personal Short Film of Aaron

Kua, a film student who shares his experiences, reasons, and ways of thinking that shaped his love for cinema, as well as what cinema has brought into his life, told through the eyes of Aaron, his close friend and future cinematographer.

This record is woven from moving images and audio recordings made with his grandmother, both before and after her passing.

Fate (or maybe just greasy miracles) led him to cross paths with a mysterious woman, as stunning as the dream love he’d been binge-watching in his head.

It all starts with him having to pitch a product to a client. The product is glasses. This turns into an action film where martial arts warriors battle it out, with the glasses serving as a game-changing power in the fight.

Thailand, 2030 — In an era where the government has legalized euthanasia through the organization ITB (In The Blink), Doc, a middle-aged “Negotiator,” is tasked with screening and evaluating those who request to end their lives for valid and justified reasons. But when a radical youth movement demands the legal age for euthanasia to be lowered — sparking debates over whether life’s achievements should come early, or even matter at all — tensions erupt and spiral into a crisis Doc and the organization could never have foreseen.
