Moving between the pitch and the film set, the documentary reflects on how cinema and soccer share the same terrain.

Horacio has urgent news for his husband but cannot contact him, and Hannah has not heard from her girlfriend for days. Causality brings this pair of strangers together on a subway platform, where they will enjoy a small moment of empathy and perhaps they will find enough energy and strength to move on.
