The Fastest Bicycle

'Bicycle' is a 90 minute documentary, asking the question 'why is cycling and the bicycle back in fashion?' The film, which is directed by BAFTA winning director and keen cyclist Michael B. Clifford, tells the story of cycling in the land that invented the modern bicycle, its birth, decline and re-birth from Victorian origins to today. The film weaves bicycle design, sport and transport through the retelling of some iconic stories and features interviews with notable contributors Sir Dave Brailsford, Gary Fisher, Chris Boardman, Ned Boulting, Sir Chris Hoy, Tracy Moseley, Mike Burrows and many more, plus great archive, animation and music. 'Bicycle' is a humorous, lyrical and warm reflection on the bicycle and cycling within its place in the British national psyche.

Bouncer is inspired by writer Geoff Thompson's ten years working as a nightclub bouncer. The story is narrated by the wizened and articulate Dave, who tells of the dangers inherent with working on violent nightclub doors. Pushing weights in the gym with his side kick Pete, Dave tells the good, the bad and the ugly sides of door work

A film about the London repertory cinema the Scala, noted for its eclectic and sometimes controversial programmes, which changed daily. Management, staff and audience members are interviewed about the cinema's history and notable events, which included themed parties and personal appearances by film-makers.

Bardo is a hard-grafting bouncer who aspires to be a writer. His wife, Hecuba, hiding her own dreams, finds solace in alcohol and believes Bardo is stealing her life to fulfil his own. Bardo finds inspiration in Karate and his curiously familiar sparring partner Anne Marie, a teacher. Bardo’s choice will cause devastation but in the wreckage Anne Marie reveals what he must do next.
