Killing the Chickens to Scare the Monkeys

A hard-working farmer, despairing by the harsh reality of his daily struggle, is determined to have his son taking over the farm and continue his legacy. The mother tries her best to keep the family together. Yet, with increasing horror, the son witnesses his father's psychotic behavior escalate.

A young teenage girl is being filmed through a simple video camera. She is being told to dance by an older man. Two months later they are traveling together by car through small town Sweden. She wants to go home but he insists that they should go on. After all, they have a few more friends to visit. Hot Nasty Teen depicts a seemingly well-known Sweden. But underneath the ordinary surface it simmers from suppressed desires and oppression. Hot Nasty Teen brings a new and daring perspective to male exercise of power and sexual abuse. The cast consists of some of Sweden's most well-known actors.

Eleven strangers are forced to share a confined space on a journey into the unknown. Under severe and uncertain circumstances they face their own prejudice and fears while, having to depend on each other in order to survive. During an undefined period of time the dynamics of the group creates a reflection of the world outside.

David a 24-year old news-photographer is in Rwanda to report on the genocide. Together with the 30-year-older reporter Mats, he travels through the war-torn country and tries to portray the genocide of Tuti and moderate Hutu's in 1994.
