Maria reunites with her friend Eliza after a long time, however, the discomfort and tension between them quickly grow when the topic of Eliza's pregnancy comes up.

Based on the real story that happened with famous writer Franz Kafka in the 1920s. After finding a little girl crying because she lost her doll, Kafka is moved and promises to bring her every day a letter written by the doll, who is travelling around the world. This short-film with German-Expressionism inspirations depicts the scene where the writer gets home anxious to write the first letter.
