It quickly takes a few years to complete a film reenactment. In addition, the actors change constantly, so that sometimes more than 500 people are involved in a film.

Marie and her best friend Tara (both 17) are apprentices at a rural German hotel, passing the time with TikTok videos and dreams of viral fame. When a film shoot comes to the hotel, Marie is fascinated, Tara suspicious. As Marie pushes her limits for attention and success, Tara tries to stop her, escalating to drastic measures. In the end, friendship and morality collide amid the chaos.
