O Fazedor de Mirantes

Forty years after his death, the body of militant Arnaldo Cardoso Rocha was exhumed, and a Federal Police report confirmed that he had been detained, tortured, and executed by state agents during the civil-military dictatorship in 1973. A guerrilla fighter with the ALN (National Liberation Action), he and his partner, Iara Xavier, fought against the dictatorial regime. Iara became a symbol of the struggle for truth and justice. This documentary is dedicated to the memory of young revolutionaries who dared to fight for a more just, egalitarian, and socialist society.
