The Goat Kid

Based on a romantic knightly ballad. The story takes place in the world of insects. The Blue Knight sets off on a long journey with his squire to free the sister of the Butterfly Queen. After many adventures, he reaches the castle where the princess is imprisoned. The Blue Knight defeats the cruel suitor-kidnapper and sets off on the return journey with the princess. The brave hero is in love with the beautiful princess, but she chooses Count Zawisak, whom she met on the way. To make matters worse, the vengeful knight Jelonek wounds the Blue Knight in a duel. Fortunately, at the court of the Queen of Butterflies, the kind Ant rescues the wounded hero, who, as he recovers, notices the beauty and kindness of the Ant, who is in love with him.

Bolek and Lolek are two Polish cartoon characters from the TV animated series by the same title. They are based on Władysław Nehrebecki's sons, named Jan and Roman, and were partially created by German-born Alfred Ledwig before being developed by Władysław Nehrebecki and Leszek Lorek. The series is about two young brothers and their fun and sometimes silly adventures which often involve spending a lot of time outdoors. They first appeared in an animated film in 1963. The names of the two characters are diminutives of Bolesław and Karol. In English, the cartoon was distributed as Jym & Jam and Bennie and Lennie. Some episodes were seen as part of Nickelodeon's Pinwheel. In 1973 the creators of the film placed on the request from the female viewing audience a girl character by the name of Tola. The first time she appeared in occurred in the episode entitled "Tola". In total, Tola appeared in 30 episodes.

Rex wants to play, but other animals (the cock, the pig, the goose, the turkey) don’t understand his bark. Rex decides to learn the languages of the animals on the farm. He joyfully gobbles, oinks, crows, honks, moos, and bleats.

Rex and his master (a boy) read a mushroom atlas together, then they set out for the forest. The dog is very careful, sniffing for edible mushrooms. After some time, he finds a huge boletus. Rex can’t believe his eyes – there’s a dwarf underneath a toadstool. A storm blows up, the friends go home.

Rex, influenced by music, begins to sing. He can recognize a harmony of sounds. The dog decides to sing by the window of a neighbor who plays the piano beautifully. She is better than a boy whose violin is out of tune. However, playing with a stick is not so great when you are a singer.

Rex is glad to see his master, a hunter. The dog has already made friends with the bunny, so he will do his best in order to save his friend. Rex protects small animals.

Rex and the cat are friends. Unfortunately, the cat wants to hunt the bird – a friend of Rex. In order to prevent that, the dog and the bird prepare some traps for the cat, they use a bucket of cold water and a rubbish bin.

Bulandra the miner explores the underground and wins gold from its inhabitant, an old spirit. Little does he know that the Devil will cause mischief to him once he gets out.

A good man has built a house, planted an apple tree, poured himself a beer. A neighbour, who has built a larger house, appeared in the neighbourhood. Each of them continued to build additional floors in their buildings, until both buildings collapsed and crushed their owners.

A dog falls asleep in his doghouse and dreams that he is a cowboy in the Wild West and that a cat is stealing milk from his cow.
