The Operations of Spring Wind

A comedic interpretation of the love story between Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai.

In a tiny fishing hamlet on an island off the coast of Taiwan, men find their balls are swelling. The entire village gets involved in diagnosis and treatment.

This is an extraordinary tale of how an ordinary scholar becomes a prince of a different surname (from the imperial family). With his wife, he lives in poverty, and to repay his wife's unswerving loyalty to him, he goes to the capital to take the Imperial Examination. By chance, he helps solve a court case and is then tied into the national affairs of the country.

The college entrance examinations are viewed as the be all and end all for Taiwanese high school students. A top student sends shock waves through his family and friends when he decides not to take them.

Antonio, a travelling missionary priest, seems innocent — until he wields his cross (containing a hidden treasure) as a weapon during a train robbery. While on the train he befriends a man named Dragon, who helps him fight the bandits who want the cross.
