Footballer Diego Armando Maradona rises to stardom and makes the hearts of fans beat faster in both Argentina and Naples, but his life path hasn't always been straight.

An intimate documentary portrait of the legendary French actor. Directed by Carole Weisweiller and Jean-Christophe Rosé, the film centers on an in-depth conversation filmed in 1995 between Weisweiller and the aging star. Rather than a dry chronological career recap, the film offers a deeply personal retrospective. Marais candidly reflects on his multi-faceted artistic journey—spanning acting, painting, and sculpting. He reflects on his creative partnership and profound romance with director Jean Cocteau, which shaped postwar French cinema with masterpieces like Beauty and the Beast and Orpheus. He also addresses his transition into a swashbuckling box-office icon in popular action films. Blending reflective interviews with archival footage, the film acts as a moving artistic testament, offering a rare, vulnerable window into the life, passions, and enduring legacy of one of France's ultimate icons.

Federico Fellini died on October 31st, 1993. Thirty years later, he is still considered as one of the most irreverant moviemaker in the history of cinema. Through a long-previously-unseen interview, directed by Jean-Christophe Rosé in 1981, through extracts of his films and through behind-the-scenes, this documentary draws an intimate portrait of Fellini by himself.

Hitler and Mussolini were able to assist each other in achieving their respective designs. But when the conflict came to a head, the realities of war soon tore the mask off of their united front. Two nations with totally different cultures had sworn allegiance to each other, but their divergences would soon make themselves abundantly clear. The idea of the film is to examine Italy and Germany's false alliance, particularly from the point of view of Mussolini, the less powerful of the two despots, and therefore the more inclined to believing in castles in the air. Their relationship is film-worthy in and of itself, but in addition, it tells the history of World War II, seen from the "enemy's" point of view. It will lead us to address certain aspects of the conflict that are less well-known, but no less rich in what they have to teach us.

Documentary telling the story of legendary Brazilian footballers Pelé and Garrincha, whose emergence following Brazil's defeat at home in the 1950 World Cup Final heralded the dawn of a golden age of football for the country. But while one man became known as the world's greatest footballer, the other died a broken alcoholic at the age of 49.

Fifty million people died in the Second World War, the biggest massacre in the history of humanity. But the animal kingdom also paid a heavy toll, despite no official numbers being compiled for the victims. This included combat animals, animals that backed up humans, those that entertained or consoled them, some that fed people, and other animals that were symbols. On all fronts and on all continents, at all points of the compass, beasts accompanied mankind in this global conflict. This full archive documentary - partly colorized - shows how dogs, horses, elephants and pigeons became WW2 soldiers’ best friends in battle.

Jean-Christophe Rosé directs this documentary tracing the history of the world's most famous cycle race. Celebrating the event's centenary year, the film highlights the tour's enduring relationship with the public by looking back at the legendary riders whose names have become synonymous with the race, including Fausto Coppi, Louison Bobet, Jacques Anquetil, Raymond Poulidor, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, Miguel Indurain, Bradley Wiggins and Lance Armstrong.

Pushing the limits of the human race: that is what runners aspire to when they take to the Olympic 100-meter track every four years. But for Usain Bolt, the record holder for the distance with his explosive 9.58 seconds, to become the fastest sprinter in history, crossing the finish line at some 44 km/h, it took more than a century of technical refinement. From the early days of sprinting to Usain Bolt's records, directors Jean-Christophe Rosé and Benoît Heimermann trace the history of the 100 meters, the flagship event of the Olympic Games, and its champions.

This well made documentary sees the outbreak of WW II (from the invasion of Poland 1939 till the fall of France 1940) as the contemporaries have perceived it in movie theaters. The news reels, made by the Germans, the French and the British, are presented in the historical context, in a chronological order. Sometimes, the narrator commentates on misleading, propagandistic images, such as pictures of German military exercises which are later presented as real combat footage.
