When he looks through a hole in the stone, the world becomes magical and beautiful. With this treasure, Seryozha sets off on a journey, meeting all kinds of people, until his teachers find him.

A talented craftsman Andrei Panchenko has been appointed head of a large mine. He is full of hope and happy, because next to him is his beloved, charming and reliable Tamara. But not everything goes well for him at work, and a chance meeting with his childhood friend, the lively and cocky Nelka, completely turned his head. Years later, Maxim, now no longer a soldier but an agronomist, returns and settles in the same house. He falls in love with a girl named Dusya, whom he recognizes as the girl who brought milk during the war.
