Incanto

A documentary about Anton Perich, brilliant Croatian artist, naturalized New Yorker. He worked as photographer at Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine and has been active member of the Factory since early seventies.

The most recent work by Claudio Romano and Betty L'Innocente is a composition 'in verse'. The sky, plants, animals, human beings, everything, at least for a moment, comes to life.

Cement erases people, the city is a place to flee from. Where the wind does not blow everything becomes leaden, it dies. A woman, lying in the shade of lime trees, takes refuge far away, in the places of her childhood.

In Greek mythology Ananke is the goddess that represents the personification or power of fate. After a long wandering, a man and a woman find shelter in an isolated house in the mountains, far from society. They hope to save themselves by adapting to an essential, almost primitive life, free of neurosis and technological contamination.

Between Rousseau and Petrarch, looking and gazing at the landscape, the wild, strong and safe nature. In search of life along the river, the silence of humans, the voice of the soul of things. Hic et nunc. A solitary walk home.
