Lucia owns a family olive grove together with her brother Donato, but her trees have stopped producing as they once did because of a parasite that caused most of the trees to dry out.

Set in Castel Volturno, a symbolic place of the migration phenomenon in Europe, the film follows two young Nigerian migrants caught up in a vortex of violence that shakes the entire community.
