Daniel and Alexandra. A beach day. An accident… A nightmare.

Spain, 1937. In the midst of the Civil War, Helena lives with her mother and her brother Bruno, unrecognizable and covered in bandages after returning from the front. Their strange, dehumanized presence awakens in Helena a restlessness that mingles with blurred memories, changing spaces, and blurring realities.

Alessandro, a young, idealistic, and romantic film director, crosses paths with Emma, a perfectionist theatre actress whose dream is to perform on stages across Europe. Their fleeting encounter, portrayed through a non-conventional structure reminiscent of *Bohemian Lights*, reveals that love appears when and where we least expect it. We accompany the protagonists on a journey through a timeless Madrid, filled with colorful characters such as: a megalomaniacal and jealous actor named The Interesting Actor; an obscene film producer called Stefano Clemente; and a priest and a nun searching for anisette. These almost phantasmagorical figures compel the two young protagonists to question their ways of believing and loving.

In a dark, abandoned mansion deep in the forest, an aging vampire filmmaker lives in communal seclusion with his five disciples. On the night of his birthday, he reveals his final wish: to film the one moment he has never dared to face — the sunrise —.

Two fictional characters from very different stories meet by chance. This will give them the opportunity to reflect on their own existence and the nature of their reality.

Appendix: non-essential part of something added to complement some aspect of it. Ana and Juan are getting ready to go to work, but Ana's been sick for the past few days. The progression of her discomfort will bring to light something that Ana is hiding.

Although he works in a nice nursery, surrounded by plants and making bouquets, the real aspiration of Jorge is to become a mortician. However, as he goes through the simulations at his thanatopraxy school, he wonders if he will really be able to face reality when the time comes to see a deceased person.

A group of neighbors has been evicted from the communal housing where they had lived all their lives. They decide to take revenge on the speculator responsible for the injustice. Led by Lázaro, the oldest neighbor and a man of strong convictions, their aim is making him pay for the consequences of his greed and send a message to the rest of the world.
