Like a Butterfly

Neiva is a dedicated manicurist, loved by her friends, adored by her daughter and granddaughter, and oppressed by Fábio, her boyfriend. Desire and obsession surround her daily life. Like many women in Brazil, she works, has fun, and cares for her family, but she also faces challenges in an abusive and troubled relationship. A prisoner of her own feelings, she is a woman who suffers in silence and whose destiny can be revealed for liberation or absolute catastrophe.

Frederico and Julieta share a young marriage, caught between crises and reconciliations. When Julieta’s behavior suddenly changes, Frederico searches for answers — only to discover that under the table, a third pair of legs might change everything.

This couple seek to find each other and finally meet, but, unfortunately, they always get lost.

Time doesn’t wait for us. Daniel works on his book while spending time in the countryside with his mother and sister. His writing, which has his the troubled relationship with his father as main subject, is composed of memories full of pain, longing and conflict.
