Lapland Odyssey is a comedy about Janne, a man from Lapland in northern Finland, a man who has made a career out of living on welfare. On their way to the city of Rovaniemi, Janne and his friends face many challenges, obstacles and temptations. They learn that they need to be daring. There's no room to give into bitterness. The most important thing isn't success, but rather the journey in itself.

At a free meal service organized by the Organization of the Unemployed, they are serving grandma's mushroom-based soup with an extra ingredient. Contaminated mushroom soup causes its unsuspecting consumers to become intoxicated with a virus that turns its carrier into a zombie. Justin, who barely manages to avoid the soup, escapes and joins a handful of survivors.

VICIOUS is the debut short film from independent director Nella Tirkkonen. Based out of Helsinki, the city is also the backdrop for this slice-of-life story, following a night of drinking in a small dive bar.
