When Life Gives You A Lawnmower

A short film about a young person realizing how they express themselves. In their world, their mother is an omnipresent voice in their head that sets expectations that must be followed. When an anxiety-provoking incident produces a vision of who they could be, they are not sure whether they can show the truth to their mother or whether they should rearrange their thoughts and not let the imperfections be seen.

Through a series of homoerotic hallucinations brought on by a book, Gwen finds herself in a troublesome love triangle.

Zara and Andre are both at the end of their ropes of their current relationship. Zara's sister just passed away and Andre is moving. On the day before Andre leaves, and at the wake of Zara’s sister, they discuss the next steps in their relationship, but they don’t seem to be on the same page.
