Setting Sun

A sad story about a day in the life of an old captain, now retired. The sadness of this story is softened by a noble dose of humor. It is built on the discrepancy between a quiet life with its small, retirement joys, worries, and the inertia of the old captain's still vivid imagination. Each collision of dream and reality evokes both a slight pain and a smile of understanding. With the help of subtle, unobtrusive details, the director has managed to create the impression of a life that is passing away, sailing away, saying goodbye.

Tamar Was Kidnapped

Dato’s friends learn that his lover Tamriko is getting married to another man. They decide to get Tamriko and Dato closer to each other. They ask Tamriko a nurse, to go with them in the ambulance outside the city. Tamriko learns that she is kidnapped and demands that she is brought back home. However, Tamriko gets to like the company of her "kidnappers" and stays.

The Eccentrics

Ertaoz travels to the city with the intent to sell a chicken and pay off his father's debts. Upon arrival, he falls for the beautiful Margalita and decides to help her dispose of her ex-lover's body. However, at the cemetery, the lover–a policeman–unexpectedly regains consciousness and arrests Ertaoz and the chicken. Ertaoz is sentenced to ten years, while the bird receives seven. In prison, they meet an inventor who has built a flying machine that runs not on fuel but the power of love.

Girl And Soldier

A young boxer and his girlfriend seem to be bored with the monotony of their dates, walks, and life. So he invents a girl with a romantic suitcase, with whom he supposedly fell in love, and she invents an equally romantic soldier, whom she supposedly likes. At the end of the film, when the lovers meet at the train station, they seem to have been transformed by the cross-pollination of dreams—he is a soldier, and she is leaving for somewhere, and, naturally, when she appears on the platform, she turns out to be the girl from his dreams with a suitcase in her hand.

Georgian Grapes

The days pass slowly for Lia amid the vineyards of a rural Georgian village. Still in the prime of life, her beauty is overlooked even by her husband Sandro, who runs the local car repair shop. Things change when Megi, the comely star of a film being shot nearby, happens upon the scene to get her car repaired. Lia knows a rival when she sees one - although she's also aware she doesn't stand a chance against a mini-skirt. Megi, however, has a few tricks up her sleeve too - she knows what a Cinderella needs to rid herself of the pumpkin.
