When Gao, the young saint of gamblers, vows not to gamble again after his latest win, he becomes the target of assassination from rival gamblers. He teams up with Black Mask to combat the assailants when he is challenged to an ultimate gambling duel.

Taking place in about 294 A.D., during the Western Jin era, it is the story of three young men, the Tong brothers, who live with their clan and family in a secluded valley protected from the outside world. No one in the valley has left it for five hundred years, ever since the mighty general Long Teng brought them there for protection. Since the dawn of time, members of the clan had used their gifts of divination, spiritual intuition and magic to serve the Emperors, but were betrayed by an ambitious, half-mad relative. Based on the popular novel by Jin Yong Kam Yung. He also wrote Legend of the Condor Heroes and Return of the Condor Heroes. The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre takes place during 14th Century China during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, roughly 100 years after the events of Return of the Condor Heroes. After decades of struggles, famine, and bitterness which the Chinese citizens blamed on the Yuan Dynasty's misgovernment, the Martial Arts sects have begun to rebel. Prince Ruyong asks Cheng Kun, a Shaolin monk with an ulterior motive, for a plan on how to deal with the rebels. "The wielder of Heavenly Sword and/or Dragon Sabre rules the world." This well known legend in the Martial Arts community is the impetus for the tale of Zhang Wuji. The story begins with how his parents met (episodes 1-3), then tells his trials as an adolescent (episodes 4-8), proceeds to relate his rise to prominence (episodes 9-23) and reveals the secret behind Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre (episode 23), and ends with the confluence of Wuji's love life, the Martial Arts sects' long standing grudges, and cruel fate.

The Refornment Movement of 1898 resulted in the "Six Heroes" dying. Huo Yuan Jia, who was filled with patriotic enthusiasm, had been eager to participate; however, he fell into the enemy's trap and could only watch as the heroes of the country died. Not long after, China was invaded by the enemy. A year later, Huo Yuan Jia who was now living in ChangZhou took a stroll along the mountainside. Discouraged by his past and in fear of falling into the enemy's trap again, he decided to move to Shanghai. Huo Yuan Jia's following a reputation grew quickly. The Japanese (who had invaded China) grew worried and began to provoke Huo Yuan Jia. Huo Yuan Jia fearlessly charged into battle and finally defeated the enemy with his courageous actions.

A silly fantasy/adventure film about a man and wife who inherit a magical bracelet that bestows ten sons unto them. It soon becomes apparent that there are ill-intentioned others who want to use the ten brothers to their own advantage.

Based loosely on the Monkey King legend, the movie mainly focuses on the affairs of The Dragon Princess Of The West Sea who rebels against her father by refusing to marry the Dragon Prince of The East Sea.
