In 15th Century Russia, the last Byzantium Princess, Sophia Palaiologina, moves from Rome to distant Moscow to marry Czar Ivan III. 1980 year. Pre-Olympic Moscow. The MUR people were tasked with preventing a single crime in the capital, clearing the city of all unreliable elements. But, instead, Ivan Petrovich is forced to investigate one murder after another. In the center of events is a bandit named Skull who recently left the prison. Almost all of the murders committed take place under the Skull, but there is no direct evidence of his involvement in the crimes. It is impossible to prove his guilt, but at the same time his innocence is under great doubt: as if someone invisible constantly saves the Skull from death, clearing the way for him. But who might be interested in this?

An actor by vocation and a moving mannequin by profession, having said goodbye to his wife, who is leaving for America, he himself decides to leave this country, where, in order to somehow preserve his Self, he has long ago become a “foreigner” for everyone. But the adventure in which the hero gets involved before leaving returns him the ability to speak his native language and gives him a chance for love...

USSR, June 2, 1962. After the reduction of wages and price increases, residents of Novocherkassk went to a peaceful demonstration. But passions quickly heated up and led to a tragedy - the shooting of protesting workers, despite the protests of General Shaposhnikov. The authorities manage to hush up the tragedy, they take a non-disclosure agreement from witnesses, and all those who disagree receive prison sentences.

In an abandoned apartment there are former spouses. Barricaded, the husband, thus, trying to escape from the criminals who hunt for compromising photos. But the ex-wife is there not by chance — she is the mistress of one of the kidnappers. But with an unusual date, the former feelings take over, the lovers decide to deceive the bandits and go on the run.

In this TV-series the events of the beginning of the 20th century in Russia are highlighted. Revolutioners, terrorists, spies - and investigator Putilovskii and his team fight them as best they can.

Moscow Year New Year's Eve 1987. In the 25th hospital on duty are the obstetrician and the nurse. They make the rounds, after which sit down to celebrate the New Year. Suddenly, the hospital ambulance arrives with a pregnant woman - daughter of the general, who had an accident and she started the premature birth. Despite the exhortations of doctors that gestational age is a tragic turn for the child, a fierce general, threatening with a pistol, forcing him to take delivery. A child is born dead, and intimidated doctor decides to replace it for a living. On the same day another woman gave birth to twin-girls, one of which is changed. Ironically, the two girls called Masha.

In 1985, perestroika began in the Soviet Union and the Laskovy May group appeared. At their concerts there were only full houses, from unrequited love for them, suicides were committed. The figure of Mikhail Gorbachev faded in the glory of the creator of "Tender May" - Andrei Razin. An accidental photo taken on the beach, where Andrei Razin, as a child, was captured with the Gorbachev family, turned his fate upside down. It was with the help of this photograph that he became Gorbachev's nephew. He did not say this directly - just hinted, and he was instantly believed. Functionaries of all ranks acted without delay: the doors of television and radio opened before him, the Soviet stage lay at his feet. Razin traveled to all the orphanages of the Soviet Union in search of gifted children for his twin groups.

В течении фильма Сергей пытается раскрыть Лене глаза на ее нового ухажера. Лена будет разбираться кого же из двух странноватых кавалеров она все-таки любит.
