The God Promise

A young couple's newly married life is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of the baby of her ex-girlfriend, who has given birth to her husband's child and died. The young daughter-in-law must choose between becoming a stepmother or divorcing her husband. The girl chooses the former, and their complicated life story begins. Until the very moment the goat naturally dies at this resting place, it watches over and protects the boy, illustrating the profound bond between humans, animals, and the natural world.
