The Sequel to Summer Rain

Seven outcasts who, despite their special needs, come together in a strange demonstration in a deserted schoolyard. We get to visit the world and rituals they create during bright summer evenings when normal society draws its curtains.

Sabina has traveled from Romania to the small Swedish town Holmsund with her Roma brothers. They work in a garage and Sabina is looking for a job. Elin, born and raised in Holmsund, is in the church singing at the graduation ceremony. A summer is about to start and Sabina will get to know Elin. Together they will revolt against the old ways and find something new in each other. At the same time the society around them collapses in fear and Elin’s dad becomes insane by sorrow. Because there is a madness in the Swedish idyll.

Viktor Johansson is back with a new semi-documentary. This time about teenage outsiders from Flogsta, on the outskirts of Uppsala.

Bengt is equally surprised and moved when Ellen shows up unannounced. Tentatively, they begin to approach each other through shared memories and experiences, while the neighbors’ children run riot outside and the record player blasts DDR punk by Namenlos.

Pelle is haunted by horror star Jacky as she jumps out of the TV screen. The slasher short "Jacky" is composed of recently unearthed VHS-tapes.

Rain beats against the car window as Yoshi treats his son to a hamburger. But amid the bites, he struggles to express something that will fundamentally change their lives. Dreams collide with obligations in this sensitively and poetically crafted film about the relationship between a father and son.
