The Penumbra

Gupta gets a phone call in the middle of the night with the caller claiming that Gupta is unaware of his own death last evening. He urges him to accept his death, else he will have to face consequences.

A man wakes up. He sees himself and his son playing with time. After a psychedelic journey of absurdity, he finally reaches a level of realization when he understands he has been dreaming in life but continues to dream because that is the truth. Anyhow, that is all about perspectives.

A young guy, Timir. An older police inspector, Abhijit. And an interrogation which leads to revealing secrets. Abhijit starts investigating the mysterious death of a girl named Adrita. While interrogating the main suspect Timir, the conversation sparks moments which intertwines their lives in one thread. "Mukhomukhi" is a neo-noir dreamy psychological drama on love and fear. It takes inspiration from a poem and a famous novel.

A poor farmer reaches a politician's home in order to ask for a mobile phone because his son wants to make a short film. The film is a conversation and a subtle political commentary on the condition of the country.

As a crude politician threatens the interviewer to not ask controversial questions, the interviewer keeps up with his pace to stay true to his profession. His truth is nothing but generating controversy and creating more TRP.

Two friends, Prakash and Timir, meet to discuss about a horror short film. The room has scattered things and an idol. But their own set of beliefs come in between, and they go on a series of discussions which lead to a final film plot connecting their own lives, along with the life of the idol.
