In a small farming town, a graduating high school girl struggles to convince her distrustful father to allow her to continue her studies in college after her older sister gets pregnant while being sent to the same university.

After years in the United States, Miguel returns to the Philippines as a young man. Revisiting his hometown in Pampanga, he is flooded with memories of dreams and cherished moments shared with his childhood friend Simon. Carrying a souvenir from America, Miguel discovers that Simon is no longer there to meet him.

In 2024, two typhoons struck separate towns in Batangas three months apart. After Typhoons Carina and Kristine, Gloring and Roy confront loss through rituals of remembrance. As quarrying resumes on barely dry land, memory becomes labor amid endless storms.
